With a renowned portfolio of data and insight solutions, we help shape smarter decisions, stronger creative, and real commercial impact across the media landscape. 

We’re now looking for an exceptional Account Director who shares our passion for media, advertising and insight—and who thrives on driving meaningful results for clients. In this role, you’ll lead strategic relationships with top-tier clients, unlock new revenue opportunities across both subscription and custom insight solutions, and play a pivotal role in the ongoing success of our business. 

You’ll also guide and develop a talented team of Account Managers and Consultants, fostering growth, collaboration and excellence.

You Bring 

  • Proven account management experience—ideally within media, research, data, consulting or similar sectors 

  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder accounts and negotiating at senior levels 

  • Familiarity with procurement processes (a strong advantage) 

  • Deep interest in media and advertising, with a desire to stay ahead of industry trends 

  • A consultative, strategic approach—able to identify, shape and convert opportunities 

  • Experience leading, mentoring or developing people 

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities 

  • A ‘people person’ who enjoys building long-lasting partnerships 

  • A proactive approach to learning, growth and seeking new opportunities 

  • A genuine passion for being part of a collaborative, high-performing team 

 

What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Manage a portfolio of top-tier media and agency clients 

  • Deliver exceptional account management to retain and grow revenue 

  • Negotiate renewal contracts with senior stakeholders across data, insight, software and digital activation solutions 

  • Identify and develop new opportunities within client organisations 

  • Create and execute strategic account plans aligned to KPIs and growth targets 

  • Build trusted-advisor relationships through deep understanding, networking and ongoing engagement 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to champion client needs and shape future solutions 

  • Lead, mentor and support your direct reports, sharing knowledge and expertise 

  • Represent Kantar Media TGI at key industry events 

  • Maintain accurate CRM and financial reporting, ensuring reliable forecasting
